Our 3 bedroom Limousin cottage / gite with pool offers the ideal setting for an active holiday. Set in the countryside a large number of outdoor activities are available close by.
But if all that sounds just a bit too energetic you can always unwind by the pool with a good book and a glass of chilled wine! That's why we call our gite 'Lazydays'.
Wherever you eat in the Limousin, food seems to taste better! Two restaurants offering traditional french cuisine including 'take away' food can be found 5 kms down the road in La Croisille sur Briance and there is a huge choice of eating places in every direction; from Routiers to gourmet restaurants . Alternatively picnic in the summer sunshine or eat at home, on the terrace or by the pool.
The photographs in our gallery show just how picturesque the Limousin is. The region offers many sightseeing opportunities with a wealth of historic sites and museums on the doorstep just waiting to be explored.
Good roads make driving easy. Our 3 bedroom Limousin cottage / gite with pool is just a day's drive from the ferryports but if you prefer a faster journey, Bellegarde Airport just outside Limoges is a Ryanair and Flybe destination.
All things considered, there is really no excuse for not spending some lazy days here in Haute Vienne, Limousin.
